Dr. Lisa Flowers has received the Latino Health Excellence Award from the Hispanic Health Coalition of Georgia Inc.
Over 150 attendees supported the mission of HHCGA and helped underwrite the programs and initiatives led by the coalition with the objective to reduce health disparities and promote health equity for all in Georgia.
The Hispanic Health Coalition of Georgia is a nonprofit organization created to promote health and social change in Hispanic/Latino communities.
Georgia has the third fastest-growing Latino population of any state in the nation, according to HHCGA.
